Whatever the weather, our Ewalker keeps things dry
The Fernhay eWalker moves parcels on foot and provides a workable solution to last mile deliveries in pedestrian friendly areas and where road space is very limited.
The eWalker fits these new environments due to its slim design, low height and ease of movement.
The renewed focus to get our cities walking again means this is a perfect product for moving parcels and goods to the places where vans can no longer reach.
delivering walking in the city
For a long time sustainable logistics seems to have focused only on the bicycle. With more attention now on active travel, walking is on the up.
Fernhay has applied the transport choice of walking, to the movement of goods. It launched its eWalker in Dublin this year, as part of a wider project with Dublin City Council, Enterprise Ireland, Smart Dublin, UPS and others.
SHARED SPACE and utility
Shared space is the key design consideration for the eWalker. Our engineers have ensured it operates in and around people in an unobtrusive way.
From the eWalker turning circle to its security mechanism; from the eWalkers electric motor to its battery specification, Fernhay has optimised its design to meet your needs.
Technology has been kept simple and the choice of tiller arm operation keeps complexity down and serviceability high.
MAINTAINING THE PERSONAL approach
Delivery people have proved just how valuable they are over the last few months.
As we turn towards increasing numbers of home deliveries, our eWalker helps the operator to navigate the complexity of delivering parcels and packets beyond the main thoroughfare.
The maze of urban streets and squares is perfectly suited to our manoeuvrable, sturdy and human scale eWalker product.
And we firmly believe that service with a 'smile', even if it is a socially distanced smile, matters now more than ever!
